Position & Salary
- Role: South Indian DCDP — 2 NOC
- Salary Range: AED 2,000 – AED 2,200 per month
- Employment Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Important Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in the same position (Indian restaurant environment preferred)
- Good *English communication* skills (spoken & basic reading)
- Proven knowledge of South Indian dishes, Tandoor techniques, and Indian curry preparations — mandatory
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen and follow standard recipes & hygiene norms
Job Positions — Roles & Responsibilities
1. DCDP (Indian Kitchen Specialist) — 2 NOC
Primary responsibilities:
- Prepare authentic South Indian dishes, maintain consistency and taste per restaurant standards.
- Operate and manage Tandoor station: prepare doughs, marinations, rotis, kebabs and tandoori breads safely.
- Execute Indian curry preparations, gravies and tempering using correct spices and techniques.
- Ensure portion control, food presentation and timely delivery during service hours.
- Maintain kitchen hygiene, follow HACCP/food safety practices and assist during inventory counts.
- Train junior cooks and kitchen helpers on recipes, plating and cleanliness.
2. (If applicable) Support / Service Requirements
Typical tasks for service staff or kitchen support:
- Assist chefs during peak service: mise en place, basic prep, and cleaning of workstations.
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house to ensure timely table service.
- Follow safety, knife handling and storage procedures to avoid contamination or accidents.
