A reputed manufacturing company in Rishikesh is looking for a capable and responsible Accountant. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records and supporting accounting activities related to the company's manufacturing operations.
🧾 Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records, vouchers, ledgers and financial transactions.
- Handle purchase, sales, expenses, receipts and payment entries.
- Maintain and reconcile cash, bank and ledger accounts.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS reports and management reports.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Handle GST-related accounting, sales/purchase reconciliation and supporting documentation.
- Verify purchase invoices, supplier bills and payment documents.
- Coordinate with the purchase, stores, production and management teams for accurate accounting.
- Maintain proper records of inventory, raw-material purchases and production-related expenses.
- Assist with stock reconciliation and inventory valuation.
- Track cost of materials, production expenses and other manufacturing overheads.
- Monitor job-work, vendor and subcontractor accounts, where applicable.
- Prepare data required for audits, taxation and statutory compliance.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure accurate and timely financial records.
- Maintain confidentiality of company financial information.
👤 Preferred Profile
- Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial accounting will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS, bookkeeping and bank reconciliation.
- Experience with Tally, ERP/accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of inventory and manufacturing-related accounting.
- Good analytical, numerical and coordination skills.
