Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare Chinese and Indo-Chinese dishes according to the hotel's menu and quality standards.
- Prepare fried rice, Hakka noodles, Schezwan dishes and other popular Chinese menu items.
- Prepare starters such as Chilli Paneer, Honey Chilli Potato, Manchurian and spring rolls.
- Prepare chicken dishes such as Chilli Chicken and Chicken Manchurian.
- Prepare momos, Dim Sum and Chinese soups as required by the menu.
- Handle wok cooking, stir-frying and other appropriate Chinese cooking techniques.
- Prepare sauces, marinades and ingredients for daily kitchen operations.
- Check the freshness and quality of vegetables, meat and other ingredients.
- Maintain consistent taste, portion sizes and food presentation.
- Follow food hygiene, sanitation and kitchen safety procedures.
- Keep the workstation, utensils and cooking equipment clean and organised.
- Coordinate with kitchen colleagues to ensure timely preparation and service.
